Official Schedule: June 20, 2015 Show (North America Cup Edition)

This week, North American Harness Update goes all out, or at least as all out as a $0 budget will provide.

Join Ray Cotolo (@HarnessRaycer), Garnet Barnsdale (@gocashking), Michael Carter (@mcarte1) and Doug McPherson (@LDMcPherson) as they cover a multitude of events happening in the harness world this weekend.

The racing segment covers the Late Pick 4 from the Meadowlands, where all four will have a ticket. The $50,000 plus pool encompasses the third preliminary of the Graduate Series for both four-year-old pacers and four-year-old trotters.

In the handicapping segment, the four will focus solely on Mohawk Racetrack's card for Saturday, June 20, which features the $1,000,000 North America Cup. Among the stakes are the $233,000 Goodtimes Trot, $75,000 North America Cup Consolation, $272,000 Armbro Flight Final, $350,000 Roses Are Red Final, $100,000 Mohawk Gold Cup, and $479,000 Fan Hanover Final. Kyle Burton Wins 2015 Hastycapping Title

After a strenuous 16 week contest where eleven handicappers were forced to look at and fictionally wager on a select amount of races, Kyle Burton (@PotassiumBoron) claimed victory in the first edition of Hastycapping.

Taking the lead in the seventh week of the contest, a position only held by two other handicappers (Doug McPherson & Mike Bilinskas), Kyle managed to both grow and sustain the top spot, having a peak bankroll of $1,045.98 (after week 11). After week 11, despite a losing streak that extended through the end of the contest, Kyle held onto the lead over the closest challenger Jeff Courchesne (@JRCourchesne), who dipped into a negative bankroll in week 10 (in 4th place) and quickly gained ground to take second. Host of North American Harness Update Ray Cotolo (@HarnessRaycer) was third.

Here are the final standings for the 2015 Hastycapping Contest:

Official Schedule: June 12, 2015 Show

This week, Ray Cotolo (@HarnessRaycer) will solely present North American Harness Update.

Ray will cover the Late Pick 4 at the Meadowlands in the racing segment, which has a guaranteed pool of $50,000. Also live on the show will be the $175,000 Battle of Lake Erie from Northfield Park, a free-for-all pacing event going as race eleven on their card, as well as the final eliminations for the Armbro Flight and Goodtimes Trot at Mohawk Racetrack. In the handicapping segment, Ray will analyze the eliminations for the North America Cup, Fan Hanover, and Roses Are Red, all going at Mohawk Racetrack on Saturday, June 13.

The Hastycapping contest concluded last week, and the results of the contest will be revealed at the start of the show, as well.
